Pilates was not
meant to be a battle over which Method is better, but about a quality education that is safe yet very effective. Barbara
instructs at the Master Level and has more than 4 years experience, specializing in Rehabilitation. Anatomy, Biomechanics
and Kinesiology, Postural Assessment, Matwork, and all the Apparatus are covered at a Matriculated level.
You have the option of holding your Fitness Certification or prepare for the
Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) exam, the gold Cerification in the Pilates industry. The PMA Certification is an Alliance
between all of the well established Pilates Methods. Enhance your fitness skills or become a full-time Pilates
Instructor. It's up to you!

Eligibility Requirements for Exam Candidates
Education/Experience
To sit for the examination you must have education and/or experience
in the field of Pilates or other current exercise sciences or related fields. You must meet and provide
documentation for one (1) of the following three eligibility options.
200 documented hours of training in a Pilates teacher training program.
Six (6) months (or 720 hours) of full-time employment as a Pilates teacher within the last twelve
(12) month period.
Certification from one of the following NCCA-accredited programs (please
check one): American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM): PT American Council on Exercise (ACE): GFI or PT Board
of Certification for the Athletic Trainer: ATC National Academy of Sports Medicine
(NASM): CPT National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF): PT National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA): PT
National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT): PT National Strength and
Conditioning Association (NSCA): CSCS or NSCA-CPT
