Barbara does not do the work with you. She will critique your work with constant cueing and correction. With each class, a new toy is used ensuring that you will never plateau!  You will feel and see the difference!

All new clients are asked to come 15 minutes early to their first class for a one-on-one, to give you a good understanding of what pilates is about and to keep you free from injury. 
These are non-intimidating and non-competitive classes!  We cheer each other on!

**The entrance will be locked after the class starts since it disrupts the class in progress. Please come 10 minutes early to the classes!

All classes are one hour in duration including warm-up and cool-down.

 Class Descriptions


o  Towel Pilates- Yes, you read it right!  Using a towel with all of the pilates exercises in a creative and innovative way, you will not only believe the challenging movements, but the intensity as well!  Its a fun way to modify the classic Pilates exercises while stretching and toning the entire body!
Pilates on the Ball - Challenge your core with the instability of the Pilates ball!  With flexbands attached to a stabilizing disk you'll enhance the work by also lengthening and strengthening the extremities!  A fun way to work the entire body!

o Drums Alive!®- (Cardio) This high energy class combines traditional aerobic movements with the powerful beat and rhythm of the drums using a stability ball and drumsticks. It's a workout for the entire body, mind and spirit! Feel and experience the pulsating rhythms, dynamic movements and powerful percussions!  Totally exhilarating and fun!

o  Step on the Edge - (Cardio) 45 minutes of a heart pumping basic step class on the Pilates Edge.  Want to make it more challenging?  Hold the toning balls to infuse in various arm work! Barbara will then slowly bring your heart rate down and finish the class with Pilates.  An invigorating class; work your heart, burn calories, tone, stretch and improve your mind/body connection!  A sure favorite!! 
Pilates on the Edge - Pilates with a "slant"!  Get the Edge advantage!  The edge movements simulate many apparatus equipment movements along with fitness. Pump it up for Cardio!! There's no limit to the repertoire! The Edge has D rings for strap attachment to fire the extremities as well!  A diverse, incredible workout!   It will become one of your favorite classes!  Absolutely, positively guaranteed!

o  PilatesX3®-  Created by Barbara Pantino in 2008, this unique prop using a bar with attached bands and straps accelerates your work by simulating many of the reformer and cadillac exercises, along with matwork.  This class focuses on core strength while working every muscle of your body with stretching opposition.  You'll love it!!
o Rock Your Body Pilates - A de-stabilizing disk that will fire your core with every movement!  This class truly "rocks" your way to a new body!
o Pilates Mini-Ball Class - Test your powerhouse, your balance and elongate your body.  A fun, exciting class utilizing the Pilates Mini-Ball!
o Pilates Arc Barrel Class - Stretch and tone the entire body with challenging barrel exercises, one of Joe's apparati.  You'll love this incredible workout.  Guaranteed!

o Pilates Tubing X2 - With both hands and feet in loops attached to tubing, you'll love the movements simulating many apparatus exercises.  A full body workout!
o Pilates On A RollMade of dense foam, the Foam Roller repertoire challenges your balance, core stability & strength.
o Pilates Ring Challenge - The size and shape of a "steering wheel", he ring assists & resists, bringing your matwork further.
o Pilates Upper Body - A handheld medicine ball which adds challenge and diversity. Wonderful for carpal tunnel, arthritis and strengthening hands/wrist.
o Sexy Tush Barre - Infusing Ballet Movements & Standing Pilates, work your core , buns and thighs!
o Beyond Pilates - A handheld bar that intensifies your work aiding in stretching, and balance while increasing your heartrate.
o Classic Mat - Using your own body weight, the mat exercises will both challenge your body and mind, while elevating your spirit!
